PS3 - ATX PSU - Similar to the standard ATX PSU but shorter. - Used in some chassis (mainly mini towers) where there is not enough depth to accommodate a standard PS2 PSU. - Maximum output: 300W. - The original design (top picture) has been discontinued. - The alternative is an SFX PSU with an adaptor bracket (bottom picture). SFX PSU (with socket on long side) - Micro ATX PSU - Small PSU used in many small chassis where room is limited. - Maximum output: 300W. - This PSU + adaptor bracket can be fitted where a standard ATX PSU would normally go. - This PSU is the same as the one bellow but the fan is inside the casing. - This PSU can replace the PSU bellow Buy this SFX PSU here >> |

SFX PSU (with socket on long side) - Micro ATX PSU - Common small PSU used in many small chassis (mainly desktops) with limited space. - Maximum output: 300W. - This PSU + adaptor bracket can be fitted where a standard ATX PSU would normally go. - This PSU is the same as the one above but the fan is sitting on top of the casing. - This PSU MAY NOT replace the PSU above as the fan sitting on top may be a problem. - NOTE: Same size as PSU below but with the power inlet on the LONG side (63x125mm). Slim ATX Desktop PSU - ATX PSU - Lower than standard ATX PSU (120mm high instead of 150mm). - Used in some slim ATX desktops too slim to take a standard ATX PSU. - Maximum output available: 350W. - This PSU can fit a chassis that normally takes a standard ATX PSU. It would use 3 out of 4 screw holes and a gab would be visible under the PSU.
