-These PCI-Express extenders are essential for standard computer building as well as for intensive gaming and Litecoin, Bitcoin, Dogecoin mining rigs.
-These High Quality Powered Riser cards are powered via a double wired Molex connector. This helps reduce the power usage from the motherboard preventing GPU and Motherboard damage when using multiple high spec GPUs.
-The smoothing solid capacitor also increases GPU stability by regulation voltage.
-The gold plated contacts provide a better conductivity and a longer product life.

    This must-have item is ideal:
    • to make use of any type of PCI-E motherboard slots (The small 1x connector can be plugged into any PCI-E slot (1x, 4x, 8x or 16x).
    • when the card is placed far away from the motherboard,
    • to increase air flow (The USB cable does not obstruct the air flow as much as a ribbon riser card does).
    • Powered from a SATA PSU connector.

Remarks A PCI-Express riser card is only a serial point-to-point connection between the motherboard and the card. Compared to a small 1x riser card, a larger 16x riser card has additional communication lanes in parallel allowing higher speed. Conveniently, any size of PCI-Express card (1x, 4x, 8x, x6x) can be plugged in any kind of PCI Express motherboard slot. A small card 1x can be plugged in a 1x, 4x, 8x and 16x motherboard slot. Obviously, the bandwidth available will only be 1x. A large 16x card can also be plugged in a smaller slot (8x, 4x, or 1x) providing the slot has an open end to allow the card to be pushed all the way down. Again, the bandwidth available will be limited by the number of lanes of the slot. Note that sometimes a PCI-E slot operates with fewer data lanes than it is supposed to. For example, a 16x slot may have a data connection of only 8x, in which case a 16x card plugged in will only have an 8x bandwidth available. Have a look inside the slot to see how many contacts it actually has.
